Commercial Property Lease Administrator - Vancouver
This is a great opportunity to join an established, privately owned real estate company that invests in income producing properties and have a mixed portfolio of properties across Western Canada. As a company they have a strong focus on their relationships and place high importance on their integrity as an organization. They are looking for an experienced Lease Administrator to support the Leasing team in producing lease documents and assisting the team with administrative duties. This position is perfect for someone who detail oriented, motivated, proactive and a quick learner.
Prepare leases for a sizeable portfolio commercial properties
Perform documentation preparation, including renewals, offers and lease abstracts
Assist in reporting, budgeting and financial planning process
Track leases and renewals
Liaise with in-house counsel for legal obligations
Work with the marketing team regarding website updates and marketing materials
Follow up with tenants for documentations
Liaise with Property management to ensure all necessary information is communicated regarding move-ins, move-outs and tenant renewals
Create and maintain good relationships with tenants and assist with any documentation concerns
Assist Acquisitions, General Counsel, and Accounting and Finance departments when required
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the preparation of commercial leases
A post-secondary education
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain good relationships with tenants
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to multitask and complete tasks accurately in a time sensitive environment
Skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
Knowledge of Yardi (an asset)
