Property Management Assistant – North Vancouver
Our client is a well-established, locally owned Real Estate company who provide a range of services to clients, focusing on property management, investment, asset management, syndication and development of commercial and retail projects. They currently have a vacancy for a Property Management Assistant in North Vancouver to provide administrative and operational support to a Property Manager with a portfolio of office and retail properties across the Lower Mainland. To be successful, you will be well versed in all aspects of property administration and will have proven experience in a similar role within property management.
Support a Property Manager with the administration of their portfolios
Build and nurture strong tenant and owner relationships
Assist with monthly reporting, rent collections and accounts payable
Assist with preparation of lease documentation
Deal with tenant calls and issues
Obtain quotes, reviewing contracts and coordination of trades
Assist with coordination of tenant improvements and move in / move outs
Prepare correspondence and notices
Perform other administrative duties as required
A minimum of 3 years in a similar position within property management
Valid Real Estate or Strata license or willing to study and obtain one
Effective time management skills and keen attention to detail
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
The ability to work under pressure, deal with multiple deadlines, effectively handle stressful situations, deal intuitively with situations and work with minimal direction/supervision
Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
