Part time Operations Coordinator – Vancouver
Our client is a long established and locally owned Property Management Company who manage a portfolio of commercial and residential properties across BC on behalf of their clients. They are looking for an Operations professional to join their team in Vancouver on a part time basis, to help manage the operations of the portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone who may be retired and looking for some part time work or for an experienced operations person who is looking for some business hours part time work. They team are very collaborative and the company has a very approachable management team who are happy to mentor and train more junior members of the team.
Supervise various projects and stakeholders in relation to building and property operations
Oversee the preventative and unscheduled maintenance programme and tenant requests for improvements
Identify opportunities and recommend improvements or other repairs that are required
Document work requests and completed work orders to keep track with work being performed
Perform building inspections
Provide on call emergency cover as required
Other duties as assigned
Have 5 years experience in a building operations role
Proficient in MS Office suite of products
Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
Good knowledge of health and safety protocols and various types on building systems
The ability to delegate tasks, problem solve, work with members of senior management, think critically and work collaboratively
The ability to effectively organize and prioritize task to achieve goals and objectives
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for visiting sites
