Residential Property Administrator - Vancouver
This is a great opportunity for a versatile individual to join an established, privately owned real estate company that owns a large portfolio of income producing properties across Western Canada. They are looking for a Property Administrator to support the Property Management team in Vancouver with administrative duties. This position is perfect for someone who detail oriented, motivated, proactive and a quick learner. As a company they have a strong focus on their relationships and place high importance on their integrity as an organization.
Prepare regular reports for the property management and accounting teams
Manage rent collections and arrears, including incoming payments and dealing with collection agencies where needed
Liaise with tenants, suppliers and contractors for quick resolution of any issues that arise and communication of upcoming property changes that are planned
Maintain tenant documentation, including insurance paperwork, change forms, moving in or out forms, annual statements, etc
Manage directories of tenants, contractors, suppliers, emergency contacts, etc
Oversee the progress of all work orders, including initiation of the request up to satisfactory resolution
Maintain control of access cards to buildings within the portfolio
Perform other administration duties as assigned
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a property administration role
Experience with YARDI will be an asset
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain good relationships with tenants
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A keen eye for detail and are able to multitask and complete tasks accurately in a time sensitive environment
Skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
